Kube ("we," "our," or "the app") is a speedcubing timer application for iOS and Android. This policy explains what information Kube accesses, how it is used, and how it is stored. We believe in keeping things simple: Kube does not operate any servers, does not collect personal data for our own use, and does not sell or share your information with third parties.

Information stored on your device

All solve times, scrambles, settings, and preferences are stored locally on your device. This data never leaves your device except through iCloud backup (see below) and is not accessible to us.

iCloud backup

If you have iCloud enabled on your device, your solve history may be backed up to your personal iCloud account as part of standard iOS app data backup. This data is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy and is accessible only to you.

WCA account integration (optional)

Kube offers an optional integration with the World Cube Association (WCA). If you choose to sign in with your WCA account:

Analytics and crash reporting

Kube does not include any third-party analytics SDKs or crash reporting services. No usage data, diagnostic data, or identifiers are collected or transmitted.

Children's privacy

Kube is suitable for all ages and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone. Because Kube does not collect personal information from any users, no special handling for children is required.
